綜合媒體報導，i8 前鏡頭將會透過紅外線模組、3D 感測模組等，來進行臉部辨識解鎖，不論是正面、任何角度都可進行臉部掃描，並結合 3D 角度分析來強化臉部解鎖防護功能，避免輕易被破解。
